01 — About
Hi, I’m Jan Henk 👋
I’m a development lead at Concept7, a Dutch web agency, where I spend most of my days building websites and platforms with Laravel and Statamic — and helping our team ship work we’re proud of. I care about clean code, accessible websites, and the kind of small technical details most people never notice but always benefit from.
I work remotely from Andalucía in southern Spain, where I live with my wife. When I’m not behind a keyboard you’ll find me on a road bike in the hills, watching football or cycling, or knee-deep in some DIY project that seemed like a good idea at the time.

Where I work
Concept7 is a web agency in the north of the Netherlands. We design and build websites and platforms for organisations that want to get things right — with a strong focus on user research, accessibility, and long-term partnerships.
As development lead I look after our technical direction: how we build with Laravel and Statamic, how we keep quality high across projects, and how we grow as a team. Curious? Have a look at concept7.nl.
03 — Casa Serrana
Our guesthouse in the hills
Together with my wife I run Casa Serrana, a small guesthouse in the Andalusian hills. Quiet mornings, mountain views, good coffee — and some of the best cycling roads in Spain right outside the door.
Fancy a stay? Have a look at casaserrana.com.
